OZZFEST Europe 2002 Update

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, featuring OZZY OSBOURNE guitarst Zakk Wylde, have been officially confirmed for the American and European legs of the upcoming Ozzfest 2002 festival tour. In other news, OZZY OSBOURNE, TOOL and an as-yet-undisclosed third band (presumably SYSTEM OF A DOWN) have been confirmed for the Polish stop of the tour, which will take place on Wednesday, May 29th at the Spodek sports hall in Katowice. This has been officially confirmed by Odyssey, Poland's biggest concert-promoting agency. As previously reported, the European leg of Ozzfest will kick off in mid-May is scheduled to begin in mid-May and is due to hit the UK at Castle Donington on May 25th. These are the known tentative and as-yet-unconfirmed dates for the upcoming trek:

May 23 - Antwerp, BEL @ Sportpaleis
May 25 – UK @ Castle Donington
May 26 – Dublin, IRE @ Punchestown Race Course
May 29 – Katowice, POL @ Spodek
Jun. 01 – Nijmegen, NETH @ Goffertpark
